Velke Karlovice
Velke Karlovice is situated on the foot-hills of Javorniky (the Maple Mountains) and Beskydy (the Beskids) in the northern Bohemia. Velke Karlovice was established in 1714 by Karel Jindrich from Zerotin. One of the most famous places of interest is the baroque church from the year 1754, bailiff house from the year 1793, mercantile house (Karlov Museum now). Velke Karlovice belongs to protected landscape area Beskydy (the Beskids). In Velke Karlovice there are recreation resorts, down-hill skiing, treated crosscountry trails, paths for hiking, biking (nice biking tracks) and tennis courts and swimming pool waiting for you. Biking can be an interesting activity in Beskydy (the Beskids), the top biking tracks (17-28 km long) are offered to you.Velke Karlovice - information
