The great advantage of staying in our hotel is that you can always choose your program according to your own taste and spontaneity. If you prefer a more intimate atmosphere instead of the hustle and bustle typical for large Krkonoše tourist centers, just look around the nearby lovely environment. You surely won’t meet great crowds when walking along the nearby marked hiking trails. On the other hand, if you wish to reach the more traveled trails and some of the more popular hiking goals, you don’t need to go far. The western part of Krkonoše, the highest mountain range in the Czech Republic, with the town of Harrachov as its center, is made available through a system of cableways starting at Rokytnice nad Jizerou. For years, this part of the mountains has been regarded as a paradise for downhill skiers; miles-long cross-country ski trails are also perfect. Mountain and trek-bike enthusiasts will not be disappointed either, for the terrain provides them with excellent opportunities. The south-west range of the mountains is also quite near. Marked trails are less numerous there, but visitors can enjoy folk architecture, some remarkable features of which will come to visitors as pleasant surprises. The region on the right bank of the Jizera river (Vysoké, Paseky) has been made famous through the work of Czech writers. In the 19th century there lived a great number of well-educated people: Bible readers, literate villagers, violin makers, and amateur actors, all who endeavored to preserve and cultivate Czech traditions. Their heritage is live and valid still today. Hejlov Hiking tips: Rezek Paseky nad Jizerou Jablonec nad Jizerou Vysoké nad JizerouBratrouchov - information
