Bike route Giant Mountains: Around Harrachov

A mountain Harrachov route climbs as high as thousand meters above the sea level but it is a fine route which will be loved even by the "bikers from the flat lands". The route thus leads on the paths that circle the large mountain ranges in lever curves. If you happen to be short of breath after the beginning climb to the saddle above Studenov, do not surrend. The refreshment in Rucicky or impressive outlook from the way to Terex along with Vosecka bouda belong to unforgettable experiences and they are certainly worth the trip.

Follow the cycling route No. 2B around Plesivec (hill) to the valley of Mumlava river, to the crossroad called Kranonosova snidane. In case we would go through the valley to Mumlava waterfalls we come quick to Harrachov. But we will not give up and continue up hill towards north along the cycling route No. 2. Than leads the road on the hill-side under the peaks of Kamenec, Jaksin and Mrtvy vrch, close to Novosvetsky prusmyk (board crossing to Poland).
