Slovakia as an independent country originated on 1st January 1993. Slovakia with its area of little more than 49 thousand square meters belongs to medium large European countries. This country with its 5 million inhabitants offers numerous interesting places and we speak not only about the High Tatra, but also about the Little Fatra or the Slovak Paradise. Slovakia offers much more to the visitors. In Slovakia you can find a number of natural and historical landmarks. Czech tourists are most familiar only with Bojnice Chateau or Spiš Castle. Nevertheless, there are also many other places worth visiting in Slovakia.Bardejov Spa – Spa resort of eastern Slovakia. An open-air museum is a part of the resort. Dudince is a small spa town lying 140 meters above the sea level in the triangle of Bratislava, Banská Bystrica and Budapest at the foot of Krupinská basin.
