Marianske Lazne is situated in the western Bohemian near the borderline with Germany. Marianske Lazne is in the altitude 630 m above the sea level and the climate is mild submontane. The first spa house (the Golden Ball) was established at the end of the 18th century by doctor Jan Josef Nehr. In Marianske Lazne there are beautiful parks, architecture in Augustan age and empire style (summerhouses, pavilions and galleries).
